CCS Fraud Reporting

Reporting Fraud or Waste of School Funds or Property

The Cumberland County Board of Education and Superintendent are committed to cultivating high ethical standards and promoting conduct that strengthens public trust and confidence in the integrity of the school system. To help keep our reputation strong, the Superintendent encourages all stakeholders to report suspected financial irregularities involving school funds or property of which they become aware. For this purpose, three avenues are available for reporting suspected financial irregularities.

The information reported will be submitted directly to the school system’s Internal Auditing Department for investigation. All information is considered confidential and may be reported anonymously. However, you are encouraged to provide information that would allow the auditor to contact you for further information or clarification, if necessary.
